On a computer-based system, establishes and maintains individual time, leave, and earnings records of salaried and hourly non-appropriated fund employees, civilian and military plus seasonal hires.
Accomplishes withholdings for federal, state and local taxes and collections for social security, retirement, life insurance, health benefits and union dues, as applicable.
Examines and verifies all pay action documents for accuracy, authority, completeness and conformance with regulatory and statutory requirements.Balances output reports to appropriate source documents on a pay period, quarterly, and annual basis. Balances all deductions and earnings for each installation.
Input payroll data from a variety of source documents into a computerized payroll system which requires a knowledge of a variety of coding structures to process the various pay interrelationships involved.
