The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a part-time Money Room Clerk to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. In this exciting location, you will never have a dull day on the job. As a Money Room Clerk, you will be working under the direction of the Cage Manager to balance the vault and accurately count and balance all returned cashier moneybags.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures all state, company, and departmental regulations and procedures are followed
  • Verify and accept funds from drop and count staff, accurately counting and verifying vault funds on a daily basis, as well as prepare cashier moneybags for upcoming shifts
  • Maintains an accurate cash balance, balancing all proceeds on table at end of shift, and prepare daily bank deposits
  • Train team members on procedures and regulations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 21 years' of age
  • High school diploma or GED and two years of cash handling experience
  • Must pass a math test, and obtain and maintain state gaming license
  • Understand verbal and written instructions, as well as intermediate computer skills including data input and record keeping, and have knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations
  • Ability to work cross functionally with departments, working well with guests, outside vendors, and other team members
