Typical Day in the Life

The Junior Technology Advisory Consultant at Eide Bailly will support the Technology Consulting Advisory team in strategizing, researching, and developing professional client deliverables, along with supporting other projects. A typical day in the life might include the following:

  • Using technical and conceptual information to create, edit and format professional client deliverables.
Demonstrate technical excellence by contributing to client-ready deliverables in line with the client's needs as confirmed by managers, senior managers, and directors.Translating technical documentation and consultant written recommendations into client presentations.Strategizing with project team members on service offerings, learning about product areas and competitors, and developing a deeper understanding of our client's needs.Working across multiple teams in technology consulting with a variety of different clients and industries and the associated solutions and services we provide to them.Independently researching and exploring best practices for presenting content and telling a business story.Participating in client reviews and meetings to understand business processes and engage with clients.Ensuring timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.Maintaining compliance with turnaround times and deadlines.Maintains awareness of technical trends and issues in the area of ERP products and applies that knowledge to client issues and solutions.Supports various clients concurrently with aggressive timelines to achieve objectives including client satisfaction and implementation profitability.Partners with other consultants to assess client implementation needs, craft innovative solutions that span different subject matter domains, and implement these plans to exceed the client's expectations.Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the teamParticipate in client interviews and deliverable reviews.Develop professional looking deliverable and sales / proposal templates.Translate Sr. Consultant concepts and ideas into deliverables that effectively communicate key business and technical concepts.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in communications within the technology industry preferred.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and other marketing tools or technologies.
  • You embrace ambiguity and are a self-starter who has a genuine curiosity to learn about the client's businesses and our solutions and services.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have a team-focused mindset, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with colleagues

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
