For this position, *you must have an Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Florida, be Nationally Certified (PTCB), and have your sterile compounding certification.

*You'll also need previous sterile compounding experience.

*Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, in accordance with USP guidelines.
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients, following prescribed formulas and protocols.
  • Perform routine quality control checks to verify the accuracy and sterility of compounded medications.
  • Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Document all compounding activities and maintain precise records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Passionate about using aseptic techniques to prepare compounded sterile products.
  • On the ball with your ability to prepare records and monitor results for Pharmaceutical Quality assurance testing.
