Summary

About the Position: The position is located at Navy Hospital in Pensacola, FL, inside the linen room. Work hours are from Monday-Friday, overtime may be available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation



Duties
  • Receives, identifies, validates, weighs, unloads and stores on shelves and in appropriate areas (i.e. nurse server, supply room, space saver, etc.) all clean linens.
  • Reviews for accuracy all daily requests for linen supplies.
  • Makes requests for those activities that are on the cart exchange system using preestablished daily requirements.
  • Selects linens by type, size and quantity; loads them into automatic transport carts.
  • Weighs the carts and records weight on Daily Linen Request LOG.
  • Issue and receiving uniforms to hospital staff, inventory, stocking and records keeping.
