AA Medical is a PE backed platform focused on connecting the world with life sustaining medical equipment. As a Strategic Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze industry data, market trends, and internal metrics to formulate effective pricing strategies for our range of used medical devices. Other responsibilities will include analyzing internal financial data and external customer data, providing actionable insights into that data, and working with teams to develop strategic business plans around those insights. By working closely with key stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that align with the company's goals and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize industry data, market research, and internal performance metrics to conduct thorough analyses.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to understand product positioning, target customer segments, and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales to gather insights from the field, understand customer needs, and align pricing with market demand.
  • Engage with Operations to assess cost structures, supply chain dynamics, and production constraints.
  • Identify pricing trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop and refine pricing models based on a thorough understanding of product value, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Propose and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate pricing strategies to internal teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of the rationale behind pricing decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies through ongoing analysis and performance tracking.
  • Recommend adjustments to pricing models based on changing market conditions and business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, preferably with a focus on pricing strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the medical device industry and regulatory considerations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, such as Excel, and experience with pricing software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
