Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Laryngologist to join our distinguished Otolaryngology team. The successful candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the larynx and voice, offering expertise in both medical and surgical management. Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of laryngeal and voice disorders, including vocal cord nodules, polyps, paralysis, and laryngeal cancer.Perform diagnostic procedures such as laryngoscopy, videostroboscopy, and voice analysis to assess vocal function and formulate individualized treatment plans.Provide medical interventions for laryngeal conditions, including voice therapy, pharmacotherapy, and injection laryngoplasty.Perform surgical procedures related to laryngology, such as microlaryngoscopy, vocal cord surgery, and laryngeal framework surgery.Collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists, voice therapists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes and rehabilitation.Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, case discussions, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.Engage in academic and research endeavors, including clinical studies, quality improvement projects, and scholarly publications.Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices within the field of laryngology.
