What you will enjoy doing
  • You will acts as coordinator for all Piping Engineering activities and be responsible for training new Piping Engineers and Piping Materials Engineers including developing training programs as required
  • Further, you will develop and maintain standard methodology for pipe specifications and review project documents that require evaluation from a technical expert or supervision
  • Lead the selection of specific 3D CAD/CAE application for the project
  • You will initiate and coordinate CAD project setup by CAD administration group
  • Also, you will conduct Design review meetings (e.g. 30%, 60% and 90% 3D Plant mode review meetings with Client)
  • Coordinate technical interfaces with equipment and package vendors and documentation review,
  • Develop Plot plan / Equipment layout
  • Ensure quality and schedule of discipline deliverables incl. plot plan, piping stress analysis, nozzle orientation drawings and piping isometrics
  • Also, you will harmonize priorities and sequence of Plant Layout and Piping Design documentation to be released for procurement and construction
  • Carry out material and engineering estimation during proposal phase
  • Lead and coordinate the remote team
  • Depending on the project size and scope, may also function as a specialist Plant layout and Piping Design Engineer
  • In addition, you will review engineering tools in the area of piping engineering and design for improvements
  • Moreover, you will support less experienced Piping Engineers, Piping Stress engineers and Piping Materials Engineers in their daily activities including review of work, technical support, and interfacing with project teams as required
  • You will prepare all associated lists, i.e. Specialty items, Piping tie-ins etc

  • You have a BS or licensure and equivalent experience, PE preferred and fifteen (15) years experience in Piping Engineering
  • Working knowledge of International Codes and Standards is needed, as well you are complete familiar with Respective Codes (i.e. B31.3)
  • Further, you have effective computer skills like 3-D CAD applications- Smart Plant 3d and Smart Plant Review, Microsoft Office software
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company suit your profile, as well as effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Practical field experience will be an advantage
