Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
Plan, organize and Control SIT, UAT and PROD environment effectively to achieve the target of 100% systems availability. Understand business and regulation's requirements and suggestions, translate into technology requirements. Liaise with engineering team and product vendor for the system enhancements. Identify cost and effort saving opportunities in the systems and work toward making it more cost effective and efficient.

Plan and conduct systems testing and User Acceptance testing for application changes and secure required sign-off at the respective stages.

Perform change deployment and technical sanity in SIT, UAT, and PROD environments.

Perform operations support duties, which primarily includes incident, request and change management in adherence to the agreed SLA with the business and technology support groups.

Ensure 24*7 availability to the team, especially during the major change implementation or issues in the PROD environment. Perform change review and approval for the activities impacting the team's supported applications and related infrastructures. Perform change reconciliation, incident requests reviews and monthly root cause analysis duties. Create and maintain document for the applications, utilities, tools, and procedures. Work on applications hygiene by keeping application free from vulnerabilities and breaks. Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work. Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents.

Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes.

Design self-healing and resiliency patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Application Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.


Skills Required:

Requires experience in the following: system administration in Windows, Unix, or Linux platforms; high level programing language such as Java, Python, or C#; shell scripting; CI/CD pipeline and testing framework; Incident, Change and Problem management process in an large scale operations; integrating solutions in a multi-vendor environment, including SaaS environments; AppDynamics; Splunk; Apica; Jmeter; Dynatrace; Ansible; Puppet; Chef; Evolven; Agile and full software development life cycle disciplines; Splunk in the following areas: IT Operations, compliance, Dev-Ops, network security, and system security, supporting security event management tools (SIEMs); and Cloud Engineering.
