We are seeking a detail-oriented and technologically savvy Academic Data Assistant to join our team for 10 weeks, starting July 15. This role requires up to 40 hours of work per week and involves ensuring data entry matches between our Student Information System (SIS) and our Learning Management System (LMS), as well as helping with the meticulous setup of our online courses within our LMS.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Carry out processes that ensure data matches between our LMS and our SIS.
  • Set up and configure courses in our LMS, ensuring all courses are correctly organized and accessible.
  • Ensure accurate course details and dates appear in the LMS.
  • Manage and organize data associated with the above processes using spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Program team.
  • Provide updates and reports on the status of the work being completed. About One Schoolhouse

    Each summer, One Schoolhouse offers asynchronous, for-credit courses that are eight weeks long and designed for ambitious students who want to move forward in their math sequence, get ahead on graduation requirements or explore something new.     Qualifications
    A bachelors' degree is required. Successful applicants are proficient in a range of computing skills.

    Employment Terms
    Temporary, remote, no teaching, no PTO. This position qualifies for participation in the One Schoolhouse 403(b) plan with a 100% match of up to 5% of salary.

    Travel & Physical Requirements
    This temporary position is 100% remote and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to the smooth operation of an online academic program. A successful candidate should be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling data.
    • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems.
    • Comfortable managing and manipulating spreadsheets.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
