DuPont Electronics and Industrials seeking a Plant Manager for its Kalrez Plant and its Annex in Newark, Delaware. This role provides overall leadership for the plant supporting the Kalrez DuPont business. The site & its annex has enjoyed tremendous growth and investment over the last few years, which is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

The Tralee Park/Tralee Park Annex (TPA) Plant is located along Interstate 95 in the City of Newark, which is in northwest Delaware. The Kalrez Plant employs 265 people, including 50 resident contractors. Tralee Park produces o-rings/ and custom parts and has a 50-year track record of innovation and development, creating seals that stand up to the most challenging operating environments.

From aerospace and chemical processing to chip manufacturing and oil and gas/renewable energy applications, DuPontTM Kalrez elastomers are engineered to provide more stability, more resistance, and more effective sealing to the market. The Newark area is a great place to live, having all the amenities of a big city along with east coast charm and affordability. It's known for its green spaces, like Rittenhouse Park, with its trout-filled creek.

See for more information. This role oversees holistic discreet parts manufacturing operations including compounding, molding, curing, finishing, inspection, packaging, and shipping. This role gives direction to functional groups (i.e., EHS, Quality, Training, Maintenance, etc.) to support safe, reliable production.

The plant manager role drives continuous improvement initiatives to ensure core value, workforce and business goals are met. Plant Leader is an experienced leadership role that delivers profitable results and long-term value consistently aligned to business objectives. The Plant Leader engages all employees in DuPont's Operational Excellence framework; Instills behaviors and mindsets for operating safely; Manages plant financial performance with discipline and rigor and builds a sense of pride and ownership at all levels.
