Job Description

The Senior Quality Engineer will:

Oversee the escape management process, identify root causes, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.Facilitate and coach cross-functional teams for problem resolution and address major organizational issues.Maintain cooperative relationships with departments, customers, and suppliers to enhance problem-solving.Coordinate, track, and manage RMA to completion.Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to management; oversee quality improvement programs.Drive continuous improvement using data and KPIs.Provide technical support and maintain strong working relationships with the operations team.Investigate hardware/assembly concerns affecting quality and delivery by reviewing procedures and standards.Build cross-departmental relations for effective communication on part status.Process MRB parts under review.

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient in RCCA tools and systemic RCCA.Able to interpret technical data and guide teams.Experienced with Quality Management Systems and MRP/ERP/SAP in production and manufacturing.Resilient in difficult situations, focused on results.Effective in interfacing with all management levels, customers, and government agencies.Knowledgeable in AS9100, AS9102, and ISO standards.US citizenship required due to government contracts.Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Experience:Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, Quality).5+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, and/or Engineering, with at least 3 years in aerospace. What's on Offer
