Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to assist with content creation for social media, work with the DNR videographer, write news blogs or other copy for DNR, assist with archiving photos and videos, and complete at least one special project related to web design or public communications.\r

The internship runs 10 weeks between June and August. The specific start/end dates, hours, and schedule will be determined in collaboration between the intern and supervisor.\r
\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must be a current college student, undergraduate or graduate level. A GPA of 2.5 or above is required for academic credit.\r

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Some college courses in communications, writing, journalism, photography, graphic design, and/or videography are recommended.\r
