Join a group of 4 OB/GYN Physicians + 3 Nurse Practitioners 4 days of clinic at our Milwaukee locations Dedicated & personal MA and RN support in clinic Call schedule: rotating Q4 group schedule Highly engaged physician group Epic EHR Deliveries and surgeries at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee hospital - a beautiful tertiary care hospital with a level 3 NICU, a newly renovated L&D unit, and Perioperative Suites including the XI and SI robots with a 24/7 Anesthesia team. Recent completed implementation of a OB Hospitalist Program. Responsibilities Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital. Participates in graduate medical education programs as requested. Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. About Madison Medical Affiliates

Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by the local Credentialing Office. Board certified or board eligible.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
