\tPurpose:
\r

\r
\t \r
\r
\tProvide daily tactical direction, apply technical skills, & resolve routine issues throughout the project execution process. Ensure the safe, efficient, productive, and cost-efficient project design and implementation of capital projects throughout the Active Ingredients manufacturing facility. This position provides the technical knowledge and is accountable for planning, coordination, and execution of technical activities needed to support capital execution in manufacturing operations.\r

\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\tThe primary responsibilities of this role are to:\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tProvide engineering project management to capital projects; project initiation through completion; \r
\t\r
\t\tResponsible for moderate project complexity and moderate project load;\r
\t\r
\t\tDevelop accurate project cost estimates, identify cost-savings, and provide updates to management; \r
\t\r
\t\tLead project reviews and assure thorough action item follow-up; \r
\t\r
\t\tDevelop clear and concise appropriation requests, communicating and presenting background and justification;\r
\t\r
\t\tSelect appropriate vendors, soliciting bids with Purchasing; \r
\t\r
\t\tAssist Construction Field Coordinators with project implementation requirements; visit job sites to review work activities, safety, and construction; \r
\t\r
\t\tAccurately document project files and closure information in a timely manner; \r
\t\r
\t\tEnsure systems and equipment are designed and installed in accordance with Bayer and regulatory standards with life cycle cost considered; \r
\t\r
\t\tProvide input and engineering assistance to site personnel to facilitate application of plant and corporate standards, safety procedures, and other regulatory requirements.\r

\tREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tB.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline including the graduates with degrees by Spring 2024;\r
\t\r
\t\tStrong E&I trouble shooting skills;\r
\t\r
\t\tProficient in SAP, Prometheus, and Microsoft Office Suite;\r
\t\r
\t\tExperience with electrical drawings (instruments, motors, electrical schematics);\r
\t\r
\t\tExperience with layout of construction or shutdown activities as related to project scheduling;\r
\t\r
\t\tAwareness for NFPA70E, power distribution, Arc Flash analysis, Power Lines / Transformers. Knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations (i.e., NFPA, NEC, OSHA, ADA, ASME, etc.).\r

\t\tStrong communication skills, independent decision making, high initiative with a willingness to accept challenging assignments, extensive electrical engineering knowledge, and the ability to work well in a team environment in a culture that values diversity; \r

\t\tKnowledgeable of SAP, WCM, and WCPM process;\r
\t\r
\t\tStrong communication skills, both oral and written;\r

\t\tAbility to work as an individual contributor and as part of diverse team; \r
