Duties

This position is part of the Pathways Internship Program and is located at the Central Office, a Regional Office, or a federal correctional facility in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Provides administrative support to the Health Service Department.

Assists the Health Services staff in programs, such as transcribing correspondence for Health Services, to include transfer referrals, minutes for the Health Services Committee and staff meetings, letters, and other reports as necessary.

Work assignments provide the incumbent with the opportunity to learn about the overall mission, functions and organization of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
