Project Coordinator

A reputable general contractor with over 30 years of doing business in Hawaii is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator for their Kahului location This position will work closely with the Project Management team to provide administrative support for various construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of administrative experience and basic understanding of construction terminology.

• Assist in drafting and issuing project documentation.
• Track the status of Draw Requests and expected payments.
• Obtain direction/instruction from the Project Manager or Project Engineer assigned to the project.
• Assist with the proper project start up, in-progress and close-out procedures.
• Assist Project Management team with project progress tracking on numerous amounts of construction documents.
• Track status of requests and payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Knowledge of construction terminology, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of accounting functions, contract management, and general business practices.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
