Position: Plumbing Estimator

Our client is a unique mechanical contractor that embraces advanced technologies to create innovative solutions. They are seeking a Plumbing Estimator to join their team, and this could be your chance to shine

As the Estimator, you will play a vital role in the success of the company. Your responsibilities will include:

Utilizing your proven working experience in construction estimating or a related field

Demonstrating a strong technical knowledge of various mechanical systems

Applying your expertise in HVAC and piping systems, construction details/design, and relevant rules and regulations

Collaborating with the team to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents

"Filling in the gaps" in bidding documents to ensure a complete estimate is produced

Working independently and as part of a collaborative team

Using your excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information

Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities

Seamlessly navigating construction drawings and specifications

Exercising your basic knowledge of construction accounting

To excel in this position, you should possess the following essential job functions:

3+ years of experience in a similar role

A strong background in construction estimating or a related field

Deep knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction details/design

Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Basic construction accounting knowledge

Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications

Self-motivation and excellent time management skills

The ability to work within deadlines and multitask with changing priorities

The capability to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents

Experience with one or more of the following; SimPro, Service Titan, Procore, or FieldEdge
