Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland . If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The System Administrator installs, configures, manages, troubleshoots, and secures Desktop IT systems, servers, printers, storage devices, and peripherals. They perform backup and recovery functions. They maintain GAL, AD, DNS, and other network services. The System Administrator documents and reports incidents. They share work and actively engages with other System Administrators.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
- DoD m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order. Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare. Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements :
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
