Job Overview:
We are seeking a Shop Technician to join our team.

As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for assisting team members, maintaining facility, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment.

We will provide on the job training but this is a hands-on role that requires technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

OTS Precision Balancing is an independent business that provides preventative maintenance and Balancing on large and small Fans (HVAC), Pumps, Electric Motors, Spindles and much more.


FULL OR PART TIME:
25-40 HOURS per Week Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Ability to work with power toolsGrinders, hand tools
  • Conduct inspections to ensure proper functioning of machinery
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities

Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Some experience with shop work
  • Some knowledge of mechanical systems (Will Provide Training)
  • Computer proficient
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to safety
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Occasional Over-Time if needed
  • Able to lift at least 80 lbs
