Position Highlights:
- Head a collaborative and comprehensive healthcare squad
- Every single patient will be under the care of a WellMed primary care provider
- Our approach is tailored to deliver the most efficient, comprehensive, and validated care methodologies to address the entire patient - physically, mentally, and socially
- Patient base is specifically geriatric, with Medicare Advantage coverage
- Performance bonuses are linked to quality benchmarks
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S.
- Certification or qualification in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active medical license in Texas with no restrictions
- Valid DEA certification
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is a critical aspect of this role. Candidates in regions where COVID-19 booster shots are compulsory must comply with state directives. UnitedHealth Group will follow all governmental, state, and local protocols, as well as all client guidelines. Proof of vaccination and boosters, where required, must be provided by candidates before employment to ensure adherence. Candidates should be capable of executing all key responsibilities with or without reasonable adjustments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages
- Familiarity with and endorsement of a managed care setting
