Hepatology Full-Time position in Madison, Wisconsin

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will:
become an integral member of the Hepatology Section of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
They will work on the clinical Hepatology service in the division, and within the UW Liver Transplant Program, providing inpatient and outpatient care at UW Health approved locations, the William Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Meriter Hospital as well as outreach locations, along with clinical teaching responsibilities and active involvement in clinical teaching and scholarship.
Candidates with an interest in developing emerging areas of clinical value (such as palliative and end of life care for patients with liver disease, health of women with liver disease, or liver disease in underserved populations) or capable of enhancing areas of current interest of the Hepatology Section (such as alcohol-associated liver disease, non-alcohol-related fatty liver disease, or liver cancer) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
Clinical and research interest in Transplant Hepatology required.
Completion of accredited fellowship training programs in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology required.
Candidates for Associate Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS or Clinical Track.
