Responsible for the operation of mammography and radiography equipment to perform diagnostic exams while providing quality, expedient service to patients and physicians.Training in an AMapproved school of Radiologic Technology.Performs quality mammography and radiographic exams, i.e., mammography, stereotactic breast biopsies, needle localization and bone density; consistently meeting standards set by ACR and THS Radiologists.Demonstrates competency and ability to navigate all computer modalities (Meditech, PACS and Web PACS, etcDemonstrates knowledge and compliance with hospital policy and procedures including but not limited to: safety, life safety, security, equipment, utilities, disaster preparedness, hazardous materials and waste.Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.Training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.Under the supervision of the radiologist, department director and supervisor, the employee is responsible for the operation of mammography and radiography equipment to perform diagnostic exams while providing quality, expedient service to patients and physicians.
