SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing dining service to all Guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner in accordance to Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Responsible for delivering excellent Guest Service in an upbeat, friendly manner.
Greet Guests in a friendly manner and taking drink orders and answering questions about menu choices.
Prepare coffee, tea, and other drinks to Guest specifications.
Responsible for receiving payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of the Venue.
Answer Guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate management.
Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs.
Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, Cashiers, and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation.
Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established specifications.
Scoop ice cream to fill Guest orders.
Follow all recipe and control procedures.
Responsible for always maintaining a clean and sanitary area in full accordance with state health regulations.
Encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all Associates, by always setting positive examples.
Assists in all areas of food and beverage production as needed.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of coffee shop experience preferred.
Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to: Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.
See and adjust focus to include close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision;
Stand, walk, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl;
Handle objects, tools and controls; reach with arms and hands;
Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly exposed to: A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
A moderate-to-loud noise level (operations areas).
Second-hand cigarette/cigar smoke.
Moving mechanical and/or electrical components.
Chemical solutions such as cleaning, polishing and lubricating compounds.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess excellent Guest Service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's).
