POSITION TITLE: Tote Material Handler / Next Century

REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor

LOCATION: Pennsauken, NJ

Job Summary:

This role provides support to the are known as "Next Century" which involves the utilization of a forklift to transport raw ingredients to equipment in the production of completed product.

Essential Functions:

Assemble and Fill Totes Responsible for all documentation relating position – SAP confirmation Stage Totes for Melting Prepare Totes for Melting, stripping Load Product into Crusher Crush Toted Product Comply with Daily Melting/Toting/Crushing Schedule Taking samples where applicable using aseptic techniques. Variable Shift hours if needed. Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP requirements, Traceability, ISO and BRC Must be able to perform applicable Quality Assurance Checks Must maintain the work area in a neat and orderly manner. Must comply with all OSHA standards. Committed to providing a safe food product Works within all regulatory requirements Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements Perform all other related duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

Must be able to communicate appropriately with Supervisors and Co-Workers (Verbal and simple written reports are required) Must be able to apply supervisor's directions Must be a results oriented individual, who thrives on situations involving pressure Must demonstrate knowledge of the equipment and its operation within 30 days of actively training on the job Must obtain forklift certification as soon as possible after receiving position Must be able to lift 50 lbs Ability to develop an understanding of Barry Callebaut factory production capabilities Must be able to freely move around entire facility. Exposure to noise, heat, cold and dust.
