Position Description:

The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is seeking an Orthopedic Foot and Ankle surgeon to join our dynamic team of foot and ankle surgeons, advanced practitioners, residents, and fellow. This team provides comprehensive clinical care with a broad spectrum of ongoing research activities. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in clinical excellence, teaching, and research. This is a full-time position and appointment is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in either the clinical track or tenure track dependent upon the qualifications and goals of the individual.

Education Requirement:

The candidate must hold an MD, DO or equivalent degreeThe candidate must have graduated from a fully accredited orthopedic residencyThe candidate must have completed a one-year orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship program Required Qualifications:The candidate must be eligible for Iowa medical licensureExcellent clinical and academic credentialsExperience working in a team settingExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to ongoing performance improvement

Certifications:

The candidate must be a Board-certified or Board-eligible orthopedic surgeon

Desirable Qualifications:
