Summary

You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (FCO) in the Operations Department, Facility Control Division, Administrators Branch of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC.



Duties
  • You will work with the Defense Information Systems Agency and Navy Command Circuit Actions Office within the Operations Department of U.S. Naval Computer and telecommunications Station, Guam.
  • You will be responsible for coordination/fault isolation and installation efforts of contract personnel, electronic installation personnel and commercial vendors as require.
  • You will process Telecommunication Service Orders (TSO), ensuring all orders are taken for action by coordinating, tracking, testing, and documenting circuits and their associated records.
  • You will conduct in-depth feasibility studies for planned telecommunications upgrades and installations as NCTS.
  • You will program multiplexers, modems, and other ancillary communication equipment, and describe/convey configuration requirements to other technicians with varying degree of competency.
