Paralegal

A law firm in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Paralegal to help assist in case management. This is a full-time position and qualified candidates should have 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience. Apply today

Full-time, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Pay
$80,000 a year, doe

Responsibilities
  • Oversee record management and organization.
  • Assist in case management including investigation, discovery, e-file, site work and trial.
  • Analyze data, draft pleadings and discovery, prepare legal work for attorney review and approval.
  • Review and analyze documents, summarize transcripts for use at trail, interview witnesses and perform legal research.


Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program, or equivalent in education, training, and experience required.
  • Highly analytical with research and investigative ability with working knowledge of laws impacting procedures and applicable court rules.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
  • General knowledge of computerized research case management systems: Westlaw, Lexis, e-file, etc.
  • General knowledge of various office equipment and machines such as scanner, camera, PC, and projector.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, ethical with strong organizational and multi-task skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
