Practice Information
One BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist is being recruited to join our group at St. George Regional Hospital with outreach to the Mesquite, NV clinic .Practice currently has one physician and two advanced practice providers.Practice at only one hospital, a 48-bed community hospital.Southwest Cardiology in St. George, Utah is comprised of a growing team of invasive, noninvasive, EP, Heart Failure, advanced imaging, and structural heart specialists, as well as a robust cardiothoracic surgery program. Physician will share in a reading rotation with this group.
Requirements
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license U.S. ACGME Residency

The city of St. George has a population of 99,958 and the county has 191,226. As mentioned, the area has recently experienced major population growth, and the trend is expected to continue. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation's largest concentration of national parks. Recreational activities for the entire family include boating, camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Overall, you will find sunshine 300 days out of the year. Educational opportunities are available through Utah Tech University (UT) and Southern Utah University (SUU). Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre. Southern Utah is near Las Vegas, NV (1.5 hrs.) and Salt Lake City, UT (4 hrs.)
