MAJOR DUTIES:
Responsible for assisting the MCCS Asset Management Department or Property Control area. Responsibilities include receiving, storage, disposal, marking, decaling and issuing of property and fixed assets. Ensures that received property is properly marked, warehoused, and distributed to MCCS activities in a timely manner. Assists with the drafting of purchase requests and processing of department requisitions of supplies, property, and maintenance services. Assists with all MCCS property record updates to include the movement of assets between activities. Assists with maintaining data on all property. Assists with recording, filling, and maintaining data on all property documents. Assists with conducting inventories of MCCS fixed assets and property. Assists with the disposals of MCCS property.
Maintains MCCS vehicles by dispatching and reserving vehicles to departments, scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance services and appointments.
Schedules appointments for repairs with vendors and verifies repairs are completed, renews expiring plates, and returns expiring plates to UNCOR through the Federal Motor Vehicle Registration System (FMVRS).
Downloads GSA Bill on GSA DRIVE-THRU website monthly.Completes a schedule from the GSA bill to charge the correct amount to the corresponding cost center in use of vehicle monthly.
Contacts GSA AMC (Accident Management Center) to report vehicle incidents/accidents. Obtains repair quotes from GSA approved third party venders for all MCCS vehicles.Completes a rolling stock inventory for MCCS Yuma yearly.
Completes the Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (F.A.S.T.) report on a yearly basis using data recorded monthly throughout the fiscal year.
Collects and inputs vehicle mileage in our master vehicle log from individual vehicle folders when available, collects mileage physically when no input in folder is available.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
