Position Summary

  • Provide clinical support for radiologists in general fluoroscopic procedures both invasive and non-invasive
  • Image screening and evaluation
  • Administer intravenous medications or contrast media
  • Catheter placement
  • Act as an intermediate caregiver on behalf of the radiologists
  • Monitor status of patient exams to ensure patients have been completed with the necessary documents
  • Scope of practice will be driven by the needs of the Radiology department as determined by the radiologists and in accordance with state and/or federal laws

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) certification from CBRPA or RRA certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
  • CPR/BLS required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate required
  • Current AZ State license
  • A minimum of three (3) years of radiology experience required
