Maintenance Manager

Employbridge is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this individual will oversee all aspects of equipment maintenance, preventive programs, and team leadership to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency across production lines.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment & Process EfficiencyEnsure safe, efficient operation of all machinery to meet or exceed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and quality standards.Analyze OEE data to identify root causes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures and enforce all plant safety policies.Lead troubleshooting for all major equipment issues.Team Leadership & TrainingProvide hands-on leadership and technical training for maintenance personnel.Foster a culture of proactive problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.Ensure all plant personnel receive consistent and timely machine operation training.Preventive & Predictive MaintenancePlan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Maintain equipment in “showroom condition” and address inefficiencies proactively.Manage and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for all maintenance activities, parts, and costs.Inventory & Budget ControlMaintain optimal parts inventory within established budget limits.Source and order replacement components while controlling repair and procurement costs.Track maintenance expenses and performance metrics.Collaboration & CommunicationPartner with production and quality teams to ensure consistent product performance and uptime.Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events and uphold TPM standards.Communicate maintenance performance, issues, and improvement plans with leadership and cross-functional teams.People ManagementSupervise, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure operational coverage and performance.Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and enforce accountability standards.Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Key Performance IndicatorsCMMS accuracy and utilizationDowntime reduction (scheduled vs. unscheduled)Maintenance cost control and budget adherenceTimely completion of preventive maintenance tasksQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing5+ years of leadership or supervisory experienceStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsProven track record in OEE improvement, TPM, and CMMS utilizationExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsSelf-motivated, hands-on, and results-drivenPreferred:Experience in the automotive or high-speed manufacturing industryAdvanced training in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six SigmaAbout EmploybridgeAt Employbridge, we are the nation’s largest industrial staffing and workforce solutions partner—focused on connecting top talent with industry-leading employers.
