ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report to Legal to support the Company’s privacy and other compliance objectives.
Must have strong interest in legal compliance generally and willingness to learn new subject matter; previous privacy experience not required.
Oversee the completion of data subject access request (DSAR) workflows in OneTrust, the Company’s privacy compliance tool.
Act as a liaison between Legal, internal IT, external IT resources and business partners.
Communicate clearly and effectively to diverse audiences of technical and non-technical personnel, in meetings and in writing, using correct terminology.
Assist with onboarding new vendors from a data privacy compliance perspective
Provide feedback on process and opportunities for efficiency, optimization and automation of privacy compliance.
Monitor and research incoming new U.S. state legislation and federal regulations relating to data privacy
Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with all levels of the business.
Assists with ad hoc projects as they arise, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadline
Ability to work both independently and on a team
Detail oriented
Ability to be flexible
Ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to explain technical information to end-users
Self-starter
Proficient in the use of Excel and MS Word.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree

· Hourly Salary Range: $25-$30: Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, skill set, and qualifications

What to Expect?

Based out of HQ in Irvine, CA with a minimum of 4 days in office.
