With state-of-the-art equipment including custom testing jackets, the largest Viking cylinder blaster in the U.S., and high-quality powder coating, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Driver. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating a truck and transporting cylinders from our customers to our plant in Portland TN. The day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups. The Truck Driver will be based in Portland, TN and will be responsible to maintain accurate records and ensure that the delivery equipment in kept in compliance with all DOT Standards. This position will require the employee to stay overnight at least once per week but never to exceed twice per week. All expenses for hotel and food for overnight routes will be the reimbursed by Global Cylinder Maintenance & Testing.


Qualifications

  • CDL Class A and Hazmat Endorsement
  • Experience in unloading and loading cargo with Forklift
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently
  • Excellent driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
