Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Henderson, NV. This is a Part-time contract of 3 months with possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Position: Phlebotomist

Shift: Mon - Fri 730a - 430 PST

Duration: 3+ months Contract with possibilities of extension / Conversion to full time

Location: Henderson, NV

Pay Range: $19 - $22/ hour based on experience


Note: Nevada Lab Assistant License required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with drawing blood, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
  • Collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures.
  • Explaining the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.
  • Demonstrating technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification required.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
