Position Summary:

This role involves supervising laboratory staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring objectives are being met. Objectives include regulatory compliance, meeting production goals, fostering a positive culture, and satisfying needs as they relate to customer service.


The Laboratory Supervisor should have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee lab shift operations ensuring regulatory compliance, quality control, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Lead, train, and mentor laboratory personnel, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring continuous improvement in team performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams supporting production, R&D, and quality control initiatives.
  • Oversee budgetary responsibilities, including managing expenses, optimizing resource usage, and improving financial performance.
  • Assist in problem-solving efforts related to laboratory issues, providing technical guidance and support as needed.


The Laboratory Supervisor should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry) or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in quality control and regulatory compliance.
