We have an opportunity for a dynamic and analytical Demand Planner to join our team If you excel in managing supply chains, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and utilizing data to forecast demand, this role is perfect for you. You'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth communication, timely inventory updates, and effective problem-solving.

What You Will Do:

In the role of a Demand Planner, you will be instrumental in managing the supply chain for various accounts, maintaining strong relationships with airline customers and suppliers. You will create and utilize forecasts, sales data, and other analytical information to project future product demand, identifying any anomalies in ordering patterns and suggesting appropriate action plans. Your responsibilities will include advanced data reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the account executive, you will manage specific lines of business, ensure timely communication, and resolve any arising issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plays an essential role in managing the supply chain of accounts as well as maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with airline customers and suppliers.
  • Creates and/or uses forecasts, sales, and other analytical data to project future product demand and identifies anomalies in ordering patterns and suggest action plans.
  • Advance reporting of data with internal and external stakeholders
  • Receives and supports with reporting requests from internal and external customers which may include visual presentations.
  • Supports account executive by managing line of business, providing timely communication, and resolving issues.
  • Communicates forecasting data timely to appropriate contacts and address demand related queries.
  • Works with internal and external supply chain customers to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitors inventory levels based on customer demands and provide timely inventory updates to customers such as out-of-stock issues and recommend solutions.
  • Review and manage European transfer containers to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Identifies opportunities for areas of improvement and recommends action plans.
  • Supports account manager with menu/product information.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, along with a certain degree of creativity.
  • May support with item setup and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 1-3 years of demand planning or other relevant experience
  • Strong Excel skills: comfortable executing V and H lookups, pivot tables, and combining data from various sources, as well as professional proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • PowerBI or Business Intelligence experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and by computer.
