Overview: As the President/CEO of our community bank, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to drive the growth and success of our financial institution. With a strong background in commercial lending and a deep understanding of community banking, you will guide our team to achieve our mission of serving our local community with excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision and plan for the bank, aligning with the organization's mission, values, and goals.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to adapt to evolving market conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  1. Commercial Lending Expertise:
  • Oversee all aspects of commercial lending operations, including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  • Assess credit risks and ensure compliance with lending policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with commercial clients, providing personalized financial solutions to meet their needs.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Take responsibility for the bank's financial performance.
  • Optimize revenue generation while effectively managing expenses and maintaining a strong capital position.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the bank's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate credit, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Foster a culture of adherence to policies and procedures to maintain the bank's reputation and integrity.
  1. Community Engagement and Relationship Building:
  • Serve as the face of the bank within the local community, building and nurturing relationships with customers, business partners, and community leaders.
  • Participate in community events, initiatives, and organizations to enhance the bank's visibility and reputation.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in banking, with a focus on commercial lending and leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence in a community banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory requirements relevant to commercial banking.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, community engagement, and ethical business practices.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary is negotiable starting at $160,000
