Job Description

As Giga Energy's Technical Marketing Lead, you will play a crucial role in Giga's marketing and external communications efforts. You will be responsible for creating company collateral and product marketing materials, creating proper documentation to support the sales team, and managing the company's social media presence. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and communications principles, excellent communication skills, and comfort with technical topics.

Responsibilities

  • Distill large amounts of raw technical info into customer-facing content (social media posts, manuals, flyers, photos, videos, etc)
  • Work with Giga product team to extract and understand key technical aspects of equipment for content
  • Produce high-quality written and visual content for various channel audiences, including, but not limited to, social media, the company's website, and other external-facing mediums or channels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to create and implement marketing plans that align with Giga's stated goals and objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify any key trends, opportunities, and customer preferences
  • Create analyses to inform how (and where) the company's marketing budget is spent
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visuals across all marketing materials and collateral
  • Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to coordinate any discrete marketing efforts to achieve common objectives
  • Will be required to ensure marketing initiatives are developed properly and communicated and executed upon, accordingly
  • In certain instances, the individual may interface directly with external parties or audiences representing the company, its management team and product offering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or a related role
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Ability to take comb through thousands of messages and internal databases and pick out content
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptionally strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high comfort level in dealing with senior management, directors and individuals at all levels, including external parties
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable: able to shift between priorities and projects frequently, navigating ambiguity with focus and an open-mind
