Minimum Qualifications

· Pass a Physical Readiness Test consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5 mile run

· Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance

· Fluent in both the written and spoken English language

· Possess a valid United States driver's license

· Guard Card

· Possess a minimum of three (3) years active-duty military service, having held the rank of E-4 or higher upon Honorable Discharge; OR,

· Have minimum of three (3) years of federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience; OR,

· Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of learning; OR,

· Have a minimum of three (3) years of verified armed security officer experience within the most recent four (4) years.

Inter-Con is searching for aspiring individuals to join our thriving team of Security Officers. You’ll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security and safety of designated premises by conducting regular patrols and monitoring CCTV systems.
  • Respond promptly to any security incidents or alarms, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
  • Provide first aid assistance to individuals in need and coordinate with emergency services as required.
  • Enforce laws and regulations on the premises, working closely with law enforcement agencies when needed.
  • Conduct surveillance operations to identify and prevent potential security threats.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and protect assets.
