Pay Rate: Up to $35 to $38/hr

Job Type: Contract to Hire (6 months initial contract with potential for extensions or conversion)

Work Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on-site; Mondays and Fridays remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking three Automotive Supply Chain Specialists to join our dynamic team. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for monitoring and understanding customer demand, procuring products from suppliers, optimizing inventory, ensuring timely delivery, and communicating any non-conformance to management and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Material Master in the ERP system to drive demand accurately.
  • Manage material phase-in/phase-out of part numbers undergoing changes.
  • Handle customer forecasts, orders, and deliveries in the ERP system to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation with warehouses or 3PLs.
  • Manage overseas and domestic vendors for optimized inventory levels and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee service parts management with customers and suppliers.
  • Execute established supply chain processes to meet customer-specific requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Leadership abilities, self-motivation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and data-driven.
  • Strong data analytic skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Spanish is a bonus).

Required Experience:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in supply planning, inbound/outbound deliveries, and procurement operations in the automotive or related manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with warehouse/3PL operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing individual workloads.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills based on customer needs.
  • Experience with SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
