Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our team. This position involves performing procedures in the ASC three days per week and conducting consults, reading ultrasounds, and performing follow-up visits in the adjacent office two days per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology procedures and a strong background in vascular medicine. The Interventional Radiologist will also play a key role in building and expanding our vascular practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in the ASC three days per week.
- Conduct consultations, read ultrasounds, and perform follow-up visits in the adjacent office two days per week.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the vascular practice, including participating in marketing and outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board certification in Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or significant experience in interventional radiology procedures.
- Active medical license in the state of South Carolina or eligibility to obtain one.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
