Fluidics Engineer

Pay Rate: $54.41/hr on w2


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated contractor to service and provide on-site technical support for innovative dispensed solutions in the Atlanta metro area. This role involves hands-on responsibilities including regular maintenance, attending events to provide training and troubleshooting, and leading efforts in testing and maintaining equipment.


Key Responsibilities:


Perform regular maintenance on dispensed solutions to ensure optimal functionality.

Attend events to provide training and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Provide leadership in testing and maintaining mechanical systems associated with the equipment.

Collaborate on the design of mechanical systems when necessary, with a focus on fluidics and thermal management.

Understand customer needs and contribute to the design and improvement of products as needed.

Qualifications:


Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical systems.

Competence in 3D authoring software (CREO preferred) and change management software (Windchill preferred).

Experience in quality planning/design for reliability, including DFMEA, test planning, execution, instrumentation, and data analysis.

Strong technical communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience with embedded software and electronics is preferred.

Proficiency in Matlab and/or LabView is preferred.

Educational Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.

Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
