As a Managing Editor, Publications, you will play a critical role in shaping the editorial direction of client publications. You will be responsible for planning content, managing editorial projects, coordinating with freelancers, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our publications and online legal guides.


In your first few weeks in this Managing Editor role, you can expect to:

  • Develop and execute editorial calendars to ensure timely and relevant content across all our client publications and guides
  • Oversee all aspects of the editorial process, from inception to publication, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Assign work to freelance writers, providing clear guidelines and expectations, and review and approve their submissions

  • A background in journalism or magazine editorial, coupled with a keen understanding of legal content and an impeccable eye for detail
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a journalism or magazine editorial role, with a focus on legal content preferred.
