Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois

Salary: $110k - $120k

One of my best clients leading residential construction firm specialising in high-end remodels and custom-built homes. Our client is renowned for their dedication to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. They are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of bespoke residential projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Oversee all phases of high-end remodel and custom home construction projects from inception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Ensure their vision and expectations are met, and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process. Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in high-end residential construction. Experience with custom-built homes and remodels is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
