Electronics Technician/Supervisor

Sazon, Inc. develops, manufactures, and markets seasoning and powdered bouillon products that are distributed by GOYA Foods, Inc.


We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our assembly and packaging lines, which include filling, pouching, cartoning, and case-packing systems.


Responsibilities

  • Work within FDA and ISO regulated environments.
  • Assemble, test, calibrate, and inspect packaging equipment, including electronic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Repair electronic circuit boards at the component level.
  • Utilize PLC knowledge to troubleshoot and edit ladder programs.
  • Provide engineering assistance for implementing electronics projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous production.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician, including repair and operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • AS or BS in Electronics Engineering.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with Servo Drive Technology.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs (Indramat, Emerson, FANUC, Siemens, and Allen Bradley).
  • Clean criminal background.
  • Drug-free workplace.
