Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Drafter at Universal Concrete Products. As a Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating shop drawings, technical drawings, architectural drawings, and building information modeling (BIM) related to our precast concrete wall panels. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and detailed plans for production and installation.

Position Description:

·      A successful candidate should have recent AutoCAD, 3-D Modeling and Design Coordination work experience, preferably 2 years or more.

·      Experience detailing precast concrete preferred. If not, experience with steel, C.I.P. and/or prefabricated construction products is desired.

·      Detailing of precast erection drawings for submission to architects, engineers, and general contractors.

·      Detailing shop tickets for fabrication of precast members in our manufacturing facility.

·      Checking erection drawings and piece details for conformance to specifications, contract drawings, and UCP standards.

·      Strong communication skills
