They are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team, reporting to the Principal Engineer. The successful candidate will apply their extensive engineering expertise to design, plan, and coordinate mechanical systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include conceptualizing initial design approaches, supervising project progress, resolving complex issues, and serving as a liaison among clients, agencies, and subcontractors.

Focus:

  • Conceptualize initial design approaches for major phases of large-scale projects or take overall responsibility for engineering work.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate engineering tasks and activities.
  • Supervise the design and ongoing progress of projects, including coordination with local, state, and county officials, as well as other external agencies.
  • Resolve a variety of complex problems, such as conflicting design requirements and challenging coordination requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Review plans and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
  • Participate in contract bidding and administration; observe project actions on site.
  • Supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a Project Engineer or Project Manager.



Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Architectural Engineering (BSAE) required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Five to nine years of progressive experience.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD) preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.
