We are not a large law firm. We know each one of our clients personally. We want to speak with clients and discuss their concerns directly so we can meet their goals. We limit the number of cases we handle so that we are available to our clients. We understand and appreciate that our clients want to speak with us throughout their case. We believe that phone calls should be returned. Every issue is unique and every case is different. While the law remains relatively constant, each case is won based on individual facts and how they apply to the law. We are seeking a motivated and energetic attorney to join our team

The ideal candidate is a Missouri-licensed attorney with 0-5 years of experience in family law and/or administrative law. We offer a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you will gain valuable experience working on a variety of cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality legal representation to clients in family law and/or administrative law matters. This may include divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, guardianships, wills, trusts, estates, licensing issues, and agency appeals.
  • Conduct client interviews, gather facts, and develop legal strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and write persuasive legal arguments.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and administrative officials.
  • Manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
  • May assist with other legal matters as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri.
  • 0-5 years of experience in family law and/or administrative law preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
  • Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
