About the Job


The Warehouse Manager is primarily responsible for the daily operations of the Company including safety, shipping, receiving, warehouse management, inventory control, and processing. The Warehouse Manager oversees the resources required to perform the Company’s main operational business activities including personnel, equipment, and facilities. The position requires a hands-on and active approach to management. We transact in full truckload volumes, shipping and receiving 20-30 full truckloads per day. Green Innovations is not a large company, so you must be willing to get your hands dirty. Typical job responsibilities include the following:


  • Management of warehouse personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, and firing.
  • Safety programs and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Overseeing the scheduling and completion of inbound and outbound loads.
  • Inventory control at Solon HQ and third-party warehouses.
  • Production scheduling and output of internal and external processing activities.
  • Management of temporary employees and temp agency relationships.
  • Facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Dispute resolution with third party vendors.

Ideally, the right candidate would start his/her career in the Warehouse Manager position and progress to the Operations Manager and eventually to the Director of Operations.
